Message from Robert F. Hannan | Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs/Consul General Embassy of the United States, Paris, France regarding Consular services during lockdown.
We have reviewed the extent of the lockdown and have determined that Consular appointments may continue under the provision of appointment for public services. In the last lockdown in October 2020, our applicants were able to come to the Embassy for their appointments. We presume the same conditions will pertain this time.

Therefore, we will maintain our current schedule of appointments for passport services and visa interviews.

We will intercede if a United States citizen is prevented from coming to the Embassy for passport services. United States citizens prevented from coming to the Embassy for passport services should contact us at PassportsParis@state.gov

We will have no standing to intercede if a French citizen is prevented from attending a visa interview.
